Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (right) celebrates with his teammates after Arsenal booked their place in their first European final since 2006.
Aubameyang scored a hat-trick to help Arsenal to a 4-2 win at the Mestalla as they booked their place in the Europa League final with a 7-3 aggregate victory.
The Gunners took their chances in the first leg to lead 3-1 at the midway stage and they were equally as clinical in Spain on Thursday night, scoring from four of their five shots on target.
Kevin Gameiro scored twice for Valencia in the east of Spain, and Alexandre Lacazette added to his brace from the first leg, but the night belonged to Aubameyang as the Gabon international struck three times in a deadly display.
Arsenal will now face Chelsea in the Baku final in three weeks’ time.
