Blood Sisters is the trending Nigerian mini series right now and it is getting a lot of positive feedback. It is a thriller which features Ini Dima Okojie as Sarah, Nancy Isime as Kemi, Deyemi Okanlawon as Kola, Kate Henshaw as Uduak, Daniel Etim Effiong as Akin, Ramsey Nouah as Uncle B and many other fantastic actors.
Netflix and Ebonylife Studios did great in this movie but in my opinion, there are a few loopholes. For a high profile case, fingerprints on the gun should have been used to easily detect the killers. Blade is a hired assassin that is beaten up by his target while he has weapons on him, how is that possible? Also, he walks past CCTV cameras without any disguise and the worse of all, he didn’t blend in, he looks like a confirm hitman. I feel his character should have been presented better.

Kemi and Sarah cut off Kola’s head, I understand shooting him was in self-defense but cutting off his head and burying him changes that narrative. In an ideal world, they are not innocent anymore, they can get reduced jail time but not go scot free like they did in this movie. Also, how did they move a dead body from a 5-star hotel so easily?

Why is nobody talking about the photographer? #Justiceforthephotographer. His death was expected but the way his character fades out is rather sad. Kemi and Sarah are now killers by premeditation and no longer by circumstance. So do we still say they are innocent?
The makeup, costumes, scenery and artistry are top notch and this movie is totally different from the typical Nigerian movies. Overall, I give this movie an 8 out of 10.
