The Lagos Small Business Summit 2017 (#LSBS2017) organised by SME100Nigeria held at the Terra Kulture Arena in Victoria Island, Lagos on Thursday 16th November 2017 in commemoration of the Global Entrepreneurship Week 2017. #LSBS2017 featured top entrepreneurial minds speaking at various panel sessions on how SMEs can skilfully forge new solutions peculiar to their businesses and improve the quality of their value output; specifically, in the areas of access to business, access to finance and also leveraging technology. The participants were given the opportunity to foster conversations around doing business in Lagos with keen focus on the Lagos state government and SME partnership.
The Lagos small business Summit is a platform that brings together government leaders, private sector, academia and small business owners; who are innovative game changers in their various sectors to discuss the impact that innovation and data have on all sectors of the economy and the role each play in being a catalyst for social good. The goal is to create partnerships that would shape small businesses and the ease of doing business in Nigeria over the next 25 years.

The Lagos State Governor His Excellency Governor Akinwumni Ambode Commissioner who was ably represented by the Permanent Secretary Wealth Creation and Employment, Dr Bashorun, commended the work being done by SME100Nigeria through the Lagos Small Business Summit in building the capacity of local entrepreneurs to imbibe global standards in running their businesses.
