Meet David Adeyemi,
David was one of the winner of the 2019 Nigeria’s 25under25 Awards in Energy and sustainability category. He was recently awarded amongst the 100 amazing change makers by the Ooni of Ife.
He shares a bit of his story with us.
I was a very stubborn boy during my childhood days. I could open up your tv set whenever I pay you a visit. If I had my way, I could remove your car engine because I felt it needed to be fixed.

One day, I opened up our neighbors sons toy car just to get the rotor. Well, the car looked boring and I wanted to use it make a fan that would reflect the various color spectrums of the rainbow. My mum, very furious said “why are you so destructive ?”

My grandpa responded saying “My grandson is not a destroyer, he is a creator”
….
He spoke into existence and now, I have over time grown from that naughty destructive boy
to a young man willing to take on the risk and effort to create positive changes in society using novel applications and Initiatives to solve community-based problems.

I have grown over time into a young man recognized and awarded along side 100 amazing change makers who are making impacts in their respective fields by the Ooni of Ife – Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II and I dedicate this to all those who have in one way OR the other played a part in my development, like wise all other changemakers round the world.
