Janada Ajeroh is the CEO of Mint Organic Care, a Nigerian hand made bath and body atelier. After graduating from Georgetown University, Washington D.C with a Masters degree in public policy and economics, she moved back to Nigeria in 2013 and worked for the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE) during and following her NYSC service. During this time, she discovered a gap in the Nigerian market where demand existed for carefully crafted, high quality and well-packaged bath and body products. She subsequently went back to Los Angeles, CA and enrolled in courses to learn about chemical free body products, plant extracts and natural fragrance mixology. In 2015 , Mint Organic Care was launched in Abuja and made the transition in 2018 from an online store to a fully stocked flagship store in the prime of Wuse II, Abuja .

Mint Organic Care positions itself uniquely as the sole brand with a flagship store housing a full range of locally handmade bath, body and aromatherapy products in Abuja. This dynamic range has now expanded its product line to incorporate bath accessories and a range for the hospitality industry. Mint has advanced a name for itself in luxury packaging for weddings and events in addition to being the in house cosmetic brand for hotels and guesthouses spread across Abuja, Akwa Ibom and Lagos states. These include; Sammy’s Court, Shashilga Court, Brickspoint Hotel, The Envoy, Ibom Hotel & Golf Resort, Atelier Asokoro and Check-Inn Hotel). Mint’s popularity in candles and bar soaps has expanded it’s reach to Accra, Monrovia, Maryland and Atlanta, establishing it as an internationally sought after brand.

Between 2015 and 2018, profits expanded by 210%, with an average expansion rate of 62.8% per annum.

In 2018:

• Over 12,200 units of bar soap (N24,400,000 worth) were moved between retail and event gifting.

• 8,800 (N45,760,000 worth) candles were moved between the time of their debut in March 2018 and the end of December 2018.
