To commemorate World Menstrual Hygiene Day 2022, over 100 adolescent girls from ages 12-19 were imparted through menstrual hygiene education, capacity development session, speed-mentoring session, demonstration session, heart-to-heart conversations and questions and answer session between facilitators and the girls. Side attractions were not missing, as the girls were engaged in dance competition and other light-hearted events that put smiles on the faces of everyone who participated.

To wrap up the outreach, each girl received a package with sanitary towels, toilet soaps, COVID-19 relief materials, refreshments and the 2021 edition of the 100 Talks 25under25 magazine.

This is the first of many, as the #PadUpAGirl Campaign looks to empower & impact adolescent girls in underserved communities in Lagos state and beyond, and is open to donations, collaboration and partnerships from sister non-profits and social enterprises.
